To My Dearest Friend

My dearest one,

You always had the courage to step on unknown, wild and illusory realms. They were beyond all appearances. You unconsciously crossed the boundary and you did not even know where you were. But you were quite and you were patient even if what you saw was a world dying. You were shocked and hurt but you kept being tranquil as you knew that there had to be a sunshine to calm the storm. There were forests and buildings burning, there were not oblivions or distances between that realm and other ones, as there were people who had destroyed the borders between my territory and their’s. And my world was on fire. You found me in the middle of it, fighting with those who kept hitting me, as hard as they could. You looked at me struggling and you realized I did not even know what I was doing. Self-defense? Vital?

You looked at those who were sitting in front of me, laughing like wild animals, thinking that they had their justice. They killed everything that was alive in my soul, leaving it homeless. And they were laughing. You could not believe your eyes when you saw that I started to undress and threw my clothes, the white dress and the violet flowers coronet, into the fire. You realized that I had the hope of feeling relieved. You kept analysing, thinking and trying to find a way to get me out of there.

Dress How You Want to Be Addressed… Or Do not?

Dress how you want to be addressed… or do not do so?

We meet hundreds of people everyday in our lives. We see the old woman with her old bag, we notice the girl wearing her expensive shoes and we also observe the poor homeless at the corner of the street, who wears a lifetime jacket. What do we think about them? „Oh, this woman needs someone to buy her a bag” or „Oh, such nice shoes! I should talk to her, she might be a nice person” or maybe „Oh, this beggar is so dirty, I should totally stay away from him”? Are these our thoughts? I might say, yes, they are. In most of the cases. But we are totally wrong. This planet is totally falling down because of its people and because of their judgements and beliefs.

Consider Love

“Sex is the consolation you have when you can’t have love.” – Gabriel Garcia Márquez

When was the last time you stopped to actually consider if you know what love is?

We’ve been taught to wish for it, to long for it and wait for it all our lives. We’ve been told that love is the biggest power and the undoing of many great people – it is the sweet fragrant wind that cradles the birds in its warm hands as they reach out towards the clear blue sky, it is the righteous anger of the river bursting its banks with the strength of a furious bull. A world of its own, right and wrong in equal parts, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

Is it only me, or does that sound really hard to uphold?

A Cold Thursday Evening – “The Visit”

It is a cold Thursday evening, embraced by the welcoming warmth of “Vasile Alecsandri” National Theatre, which seems derived from a painting and placed near the “Stefan cel Mare” (Stephan the Great), a street for pedestrians which is also decorated with lots of little, colorful lights. Such an evening we have spent, along with other people who were holding their breath for one of the great theatre representations of “The Visit”, by Friedrich Dürrenmatt, a Swiss writer who has brought to the fore in his literary work the problematic of justice and endurance.

A merry smile welcomed us at the entrance! It was the bright face of the lady who was in charge with checking our tickets. I was rejoicing over the beauty that slowly surrounded me, taking me away from reality. A few minutes after, we were all sitting impatiently, awaiting the show to begin.

You Are A Woman, You Are Beautiful, You Are Perfect!

You are a woman, you are beginning and ending, you are passion and longing, you are an angel of love and a queen among flowers…

If you will ever wonder which is the most beautiful gift that you have ever received from God learn that it is having made you a woman. A beautiful, strong one, sweet like the smile of a child, bright as a summer day, and charming as an ancient fairy tale.  He has made you a woman for you know to love like no one else does, with a passion that crosses the infinite. You know how to fall down, then rise with dignity, as if you have not fell at all. He has created you to spread love, to give life and to write with capitals in the book of life.
